You both should sign up with the Magician's Guild. It's fun, and theplots are getting good and complicated.

The dice are quite simple, to find out if something happens, such as your sword blow injuring your opponent or a trap going off, you roll a d20, unless you need to work out percentage, in which case you use a d%. Damage is then worked out using the othe dice.

I really like The SIms and the SimCity games. I love building things and watching them work. I used to have a game that was something like a workshop where you put a bunch of objects together to solve puzzles, like how to get a ball to turn on a fan to blow a mouce into a cage. That sort of thing. I've just started playing RPGs, but I don't like fighting. I get bored.

fighting can get boring on h2g2...
but in an RPG outside... the just the plain talking for hours in star wars RPG is boring... you have to fight in that

I like GTA too, but I don't own it or play it that often. I should buy it for PC.

One time I got so annoyed at crashing every car I stole, I went onto Leaf Links and beat all the golfers to death. They have lots of money, but I lost my weapons to the metal detector.
