*Reaches in and grabs something but not before fiddling around inside*

Beeline and I were discussing this idea for about a month or
two and since the event is taking place this weekend, I figured
I ought to bring it to your attention to get it some additional
advertising.

The Perseids meteor shower reaches peak activity on the
nights of Aug. 11/12 and Aug. 12/13. So we're recruiting
Researchers from across the northern hemisphere to take part
in a scientific survey by counting meteors on those two
nights.

This is something we had intended to run through the
university department, but felt that it could use a little wider
release as the university hasn't really taken off yet.
