Aha! I thought of one...on Halloween, I dressed up as a black hole (being the Physics nerd that I am) and my friend happened to be all in white that day (I told her she was a white hole), so I said, "Hey! You can be my dipole, I'll suck and you can blow!" (I sort of half realized what I was saying, but it sounds much worse in retrospect...oh, well, it was funny!)

You know, I think the best character from Robin Hood was Friar Tuck, as I believe his name is probably a Spoonerism.

Once somebody in a debate round, instead of properly pronouncing "focus" fell victim to a spoonerism and switched the vowels! (say it out loud, you'll hear the difference!) Oh, the embarassament!

Spooner once supposedly said "Let us glaze our @rses to the queer old dean" instead of "Let us raise our glasses to the dear old queen."
