Hi y'all! BB, could I have a cup of tea?
*roots under counter and finds a spare VPB* I need to borrow this -- I'll bring it back.
Hi, Cupid Stunt, nice to see you in non-lurk mode at last!

Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner) Posted Oct 31, 2000
*orders a of espresso and a of grappa "per lavare la tazza dopo"*
*quietly contemplates his espresso with full mental tranquility*
*sips it slowly*
Ah, that was fine. When you have to get your engine running, nothing beats an espresso.

Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner) Posted Oct 31, 2000
IIEM, another espresso please.
Morning, One-Eye.
I'm still tired and sleepy. Have you ever tried to persuade a 16 month old little girl to sleep, above all when she's teething? That's what I did this night, so I managed to get not more than 3 hrs of sleep. Thanks god I won't have to work tomorrow.

*sympathetic look*
I haven't as I don't have any kids, but my sister has recently become mother to a little girl, and I've heard stories of the amount of sleep she gets...
I'm sorry leave you again, but I've got a meeting to attend too. I'll be back in a couple of hrs. See ya!

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?) Posted Oct 31, 2000
*JAR enters through the door with a rope bound by his ankles. At the other end of the rope flies a small man clenching a strawhat. Upon entering the café the short man lands and unties himself*
Good morning everyone! Windy today isn't it?
IIEM, could you serve me and my friend a cup of tea each, please? Thank you!
*sits down by small table and drinks tea*
