Mmmmm
Thank you Bluebottle. I would have said it half an hour ago, but I got caught up in some Death Penalty thing. And I still haven't said anything smart. Only smartass...

I believe that death penalty is, when all is said and done, only motivated by the need for revenge, and thus have nothing to do with a sivilized system of justice. Utterly barbaric.

Go tell that to the guys at the Death Penalty discussion... Maybe we're still a little primitive...
Happy we've gotten rid of it in Europe at least.

I read throug one of the threads now:
Ormondroyd has already said it:
"Executions take place to satisfy a primitive
public desire for revenge, and to help politicians to look Tough On Crime.
There's nothing noble about that. Nothing at all. "
The link is on the front page, but I can post it here as well:

*finishes tea, starting to feel drowsy from the thought of w**king overtime...*

A meeting that late? is that legal? I mean, it's in no way sensible, at least not if the intention is that the participants should get something out of it
Bye T!
