Aroma Café: The Return of the Cappuccino
Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Oct 9, 2000
Don't ask, don't ask - I don't know!
Tried to make them myself, but didn't manage to get it to taste quite like it should.... always had them made for me by others...
Something like a double espresso with some kind of milk (steamed, possibly? hot, anyway) and cocoa (not too sweet, more like bitter chocolate)...

Interesting... A word that tickles your nose...
Incidentally this reminds me of Black Adder (the World War series), where (insert long tedious intro here) wherupon the General explains: The Germans are not human for two reasons: One, german operas last for over an hour at a time. Two, there is no german word for "fluffy".
*finsihes cup of coffee*
IIEM: again!

Hi One-eye!

Bitter chocolate? Hmm, gotta try that in RL some time. My mom used to add a splash of coffee when she made cocoa to us youngsters.. That was quite different, but oh so goodtasting. Matbe it's the same concept only on the other side of the spectrum. (Coffee with cocoa vs cocoa with coffee. Compare coffee with sugar and sugar with coffee)

*Thinks of the sugacubes dipped in coffe her grandad used to give her when grandma weren't watching...*
T, not only fluff found in your pockets (pocket-lint) but all things fluffy. Like kittens and ducklings and new snow and cough-drops found on the bottom of your purse and dust-bunnys under the bed......

Cough drops? Are they fluffy?
Oh I see... halfmelted and covered in fluff...
Maybe I could be the keeper of coffee-dipped sugarcubes. They taste wonderfull. How come coffee-drops are gone from the candiecounter?

*checks watch*
Wohoo! Lunch hour!
*withdraws lunchbox from innerpocket and becomes totally immersed in eating...*

...does fluff include things looking fluffy as well, even if they don't feel that way?
Like clouds...
Bon appétit, JAR... I'll just pop out for a bit of lunch myself, didn't bring any with me...
See you later!

Gotta go! Got an appointment with a physiotherapist to get my foot up and running, so to speak...
Thanks for the tip on the latin stuff, T! It sounds like a plausible translation.
See y'all tomorrow!
Bye!

Hehe... The Unofficial Aroma Café Lunch Hour eh? You don't suppose IIEM serves sandwiches? Maybe we could get Irv or Lil or Bluebottle to reconfigure it a bit...

*floating in, slightly irritated, trying to get back to the café for more than an hour, repeatedly receiving the message 'unable to connect to server'*
Hrpmh! Well, I finally managed to get back after lunch...

I don't know anything about the IIEM - I never even touch it.
Not once have I ordered anything from it - I just stick to a good old v/_\3 trusty kettle, and make tea.
Talking of which, anyone want a cup?

good lord
I'm surrounded by foreigners
(as usual)
E Pluribus Unum is my national motto back home
usually translated as "From many, one"
It's on every dollar bill.
I just had lunch with some crazy Yugoslavs.
And I thought Israel had issues.
Could I get an antiaircraft espresso?
Oh and it's fdunny you should mention Black Adder. there's a crazy kid Maoz here on my kibbutz who has all the episodes on tape and we sit around watching them and drinking his RC cola. Great fun. Not to mention my calculus teacher looks like Mr. Bean.
