Time to set things up for the night shift (or UK morning shift). My new room mate arrived today with very little sleep and is already in bed. Not much to do around here...

So I'll get the kettle out in case BB drops by, place these new newspapers on the shelves, and turn the IIEM on auto pilot for the evening

Whats this holiday-thingy? Haven't seen any of that here in sunny Norway.

It's a day when the banks close, and all the shops you really want to go into close, so you can't buy anything or go anywhere or do anything. So essentially you stay indoors all day moping and sulking and watching the James Bond film on TV until it's over and you can go outside again.

Or that's the cynical view.

Or maybe it's a day when you get to do all the things you think about doing, but never do, coz someone always calls or shows up on your doorstep, wanting you to do something else...

That's a point... I've always wanted to go to Portchester Castle.
