Goodnight Witty M, see you tomorrow.
Dang, it's gone quiet. Even Ook is off out in the wood.

Hey man, don't rag on my shoe dude. You just wait and see what everybody's wearing after the apocalypse. We'll see who's laughing then. * Cuba Cofee please. I went ahead and bought my own VPB. State of the art, model 23555XL3. I also got an adapter to link up VPB's. Giddyyup.

Where are we exactly? The Cafe obvoiusly, but there must be a name of a town or a province name for this region of time and space as we know it. Bear in mind that I'm the new guy, but you can't learn without asking questions.

I've decided to begin some interesting conversation with myself, trying to rationalize the price of tea in China, and the way it reflects the price of coffee in the Americas. Glad I have my own VPB. Smoke em' if ya' got em'. Giddyup.

h2g2 is where we are, but what's that? It's a digital village. Although the stats say there are well over 55,000 entities registered, you would never, I don't think, see more than 120 on at a time.
Now, as to where we are IN that village: we are definitely next to the big indoor pool run by Bluebottle, and the pool is pretty much on the beach. I reckon that our front door opens out onto a boardwalk, and Irv agrees with me. Our back door opens out onto the porch, which looks out on the Majic Wood (that's how Irv spells it). The Majic Wood runs on for quite a ways. If you go through part of it you get to Crater Labs Inc. My Atelier is on the second floor of CLI; I walk over here every morning. I could go on, but you get my drift. Every part of h2g2 that has been established is near or next to something else, and you best not get more precise than that or you engender conflicts of reality.
Which sounds harsher than it is. Our conflicts of reality are quite amiable. We are pretty much agreed that our realities all intersect and get along pretty well.
More questions?

No more questions, I wouldn't want my head to pop. Hey Lil, have you tried the Cuban coffee? It's quite comperable to RL.

no coffee after lunchtime for this entity: I need my sleep!
*sips her green tea primly*
I hope that gnarly answer gives you a feel for how it is here -- very rich in imagination, visualisation. Why, just in here, we have two big revolving casablanca fans swooshing slowly around, and over in the corner where the rafters make a groin, Ook has his nest.
There's a statue out on the back porch, where Venus in Cornflowers froze herself during an argument with Bluebottle. We'd kind of forgotten she was there and were walking through her until a reporter, Redbeard, recovered evidence of her existence. Oh, and there's an upright piano over there that plays rolls, and the saxophone on the rest on top of it will play Kenny G on request. It also contains blue dust that you better hear about another time.

Do I need to wear my telekenetic blockers inside the Cafe? What are the rules of the house in regards to psychokenetic blocking devices?

There! Now I won't drop the tone of the place so much. Greetings. IIEM - the usual OP tea, please. Thanks.
Oh dear - I think my anorak's trying to escape - 'scuse me.

I always warned my tourists not to come for riding lessons wearing a tube top, but did they listen?
Kes, the cleaning bot fixed your other anorak that you left here this morning! Get yourself together, laddie, too many anoraks spoil the adventure.
Valis, there is no prohibition on devices in the cafe, but you may find that the transponder on the IIEM will drown out almost all other signals. We have landlines for the phone and the net machine out on the porch that Ook uses.
