Welcome to the Aroma Cafe, an island of neutrality in a remarkably, er, remarkable presidential campaign.
Overhead fans make a gentle draft as customers sip their drinks and read the papers, get beaten at scrabble, have their palms read or just discuss the day's happenings. Join us.
*Lil, the summer caretaker, changes the filters on the IIEM (Infinite Improbability Espresso Machine) and makes everything clean for the new day* If I'm not here, you can always order directly from the IIEM. Amazing machine, really.

Greetings Lil,
What a sanctuary from the tribulations without!
IIEM - Orange Pekoe tea, milk, no sugar, in my usual mug, if you please.
The first intrigue in this place would perhaps be where the "m" went.

LOL. Those letters still work. I have pounded the keyboard of my laptop half to death, it seems, and the bottom row is going wonky. Fortunately, I got a warrant, I mean a warranty for it.
Joe, you were the first customer to post to the forum after the thread was created, so you get your drink in the FTTF (First to the Forum) Cup

I am going to turn in for the night, now, and nurse my consonants. I know the cafe will be just fine in your capable company, gentlemen.

Yes, the "non-alcoholic" bit contributes to the sense of refuge. It must be the food additives that set the food fights off
Hi, Joe and L. Would you object if I played the piano? Requests taken, otherwise the default setting will be a bit of Beethoven - a quiet bit, I promise.

*relaxes with the newspaper while looking forward to hearing the "quiet" version of the 1812 overture*

Thanks guys.
BTW, German anthem (aka "German overalls' - don't ask or I'll explain) = Haydn. 1812 = Tscchha, er, TTszzhhr, er, that Russian bloke.
Don't worry. I'll stop when I run out of tea.
*lifts lid, removes splodges of cake from keys, addresses piano*

The Case of the Interittent M.
Well, at least I got my morning walk in the woods *typing slowly so she can whack the keys on the bottom row extra hard*
Good morning BB and Joanna and thank you for not having any Ms in your names.
There was another earthquake last night?

Reminds me of a famous book (called something like 'A Void' - I can't remember what exactly) which was written entirely without words containing the letter E.
BTW, our very own Mark Moxon is now officially a fashionable model!! (click on Shop and look at the T-shirts)
I think there ought to be a special Aroma Cafe version...

Good Afternoon Everyone. IIEM, a large decaf skinny superchocamocha with wings and a rat please.
And no additives... I've just come back from the swimming/confectionary pool.
I'd appreciate any help finding some swanky stuff for my space! I went to Joanna (PoD)'s page. She has stars whenever you click. WOW! Why can't ever find anything that spiffy?
