no.no. Was referring to Loony's contribution of Kiwiland water. Reported (by Loony) as finest kind. Thank you.

I wasn't here when the blue dust started but, saw what it did to your punch and the guests over the weekend.

As for the sushi thing, I think I recall something about that but that was about the same time as the appearance of a gelatinous material that I don't think I should go into at this time.

If you have a minute I would appreciate your assistance and or directions on some questions, please.

Criminitly. lf only RL people were half so considerate as the h2g2 sort...l'm sure no one -here- would show up uninvited in one's driveway and demand that one accompany them whilst they got their palm read, buy them cigarretes and -then- sort out their quasi-unwanted-romantic-entanglements for them...

Anyway. Apologies for vanishing earlier...can l get a very large, strong,not-too-acidic blend of coffee with a lot of milk and sugar in? With a lot of caffiene? Need something to steady my nerves...
Digi? Want anything?
*tail flicks twice against windowsil*
Oh, and a strawberry yogurt for Diogenes.

Well good evening, Odra. So good to see you, again.

You might want to try Jamiacan Blue Mountain. It can be brewed as strong as you like without being bitter. It's my personal favorite but, can be a bit pricey in RW.

*furrowed brow* Did you get your palm read or did you assist in reading someone's palm or r u a card sharp?

Did you do something different w/your hair?

*look of casual-if worried-interest*

Hmm. Suppose it is a bit more spiky than usual...must be the humidity.
Or perhaps you're referring to the horns l'm currently wearing? l love these things; they're made of that Fimo clay stuff, and threaded on cord. Amazingly lifelike, no? (Not to mention true-to-life...). l got them at a Renaissance Festival a few years ago, but just came across them the other day...

As for the palmistry, l just accompanied someone to the "sharp", as you say. She got me to have mine read, too -- even if you don't believe in palmistry, you still have to admire the skill with which a good palmist sizes up and defines a customer, l must say. Well worth the fifteen bucks, 'specially as only $5 of them were mine.

l can do a bit of palm-reading...have a book and everything. Not believing in it very firmly doesn't seem to hamper one, at the practice.

Believe l will have a Jamaican Blue Mountain, yes.
Mmm. Coffee. The ultimate sedative, at least it is for me...

Whatever're you reading, jr?

Toni Morrison's "The Bluest Eye".
I just love the way she paints and her cadance. Was Introduced to her (figuratively) by a translucent skinned woman of Swedish descent in a Minority lit. class, after I had found an institution of higher larnin to accept my meager offering of the filthy lucre.

BTW, which festival? And, yes they r quite becoming. Although, possibly too direct. (If you have to explain the joke, it's not a good joke.) Ya no? And, I believe, a succubus was supposed to be a demon.

Hi, Looney; Bye, Looney, and thanks for the tips.

Sorry jr and Odra, I was downstairs.
jr, you were first to the forum, and so absorbed in your reading that you didn't even notice!
------------------------------> c}~{
So there's your first-to-the-forum special

Odra, I went to a psychic about 18 months ago. About 2 and a half hours from where I live there is a town called Cassadaga, the population of which is practically all professional psychics! So I went and had hlaf an hour reading with an old fellow. The reading was so-so until the end. He said I had lots of people around me, and as I was standing to leave, he suddenly said "Gloria Edmonds is with you." Edmonds is my maiden name; I haven't used it in 30 years. It was a real jolt.

*finishes off green tea*
It's nearly 1 am, so I must turn in...
See you tomorrow, or at least, in about 7 or 8 hours.

*wakes up with a jolt from the awkward position in which she dozed off (both here and in RL, amusingly) and skims the backlog*

Night, Lil, Loony (unless l see you later)...or whatever your appropriate time label may be...

l've always wondered how much of the skill of the "psychic" is talent in sensing the psychology and personality of their subject, and how much is "psychic ability", or "the sixth sense" or whatever one wishes to call it. Apparently there must be some earnest supernatural sensory skill, or at least it seems, when things like your experience occur.
Mine wasn't a bad reading. l think. l've never had one. l was told, however, that in my future career l would "be surrounded by many men", possibly in a position of power over them.
What that could mean, l haven't a notion. Thoughts, anyone? And don't bother making the obligatory jokes about prostitution...'s already been done (with impeccable timing and grace, l confess)...

mmmmmmmm. That's mighty tasty there, Lil. Thank You.

Jolt. Wasn't That a soda a few years back promoted for twice the caffine and real sugar. Seems so.

But, cereally folks. That would have most definately given me the heebie-jeebies.

On that note (G)(or, is that my key). Must shuffle, folks

*closes book shuffles towards door*
