Oops...sorrysmiley - smiley

Cappucino please Irv, and a 'Good Evening' to one and all!

It is so slow today. I noticed about 98 people logged on 15 minutes ago, 38 of which were new researchers!
Did somebody somewhere run a TV programme about this place today?

And slowly rejoining the nonreal world after a whole lot of RL, but since there are 77 people logged on now it's not really the optimal time. Oh well.

Take an iced coffee?

I just moved all my room mate's things out of the room. I've now got an entire dorm room to myself, but for some reason I'm still only using half of it!

Most people only use half a room - the bottom half. If only people could walk on the ceiling, think how much space would be saved! But alas, the only thing the ceiling is used for is to hang lights from... Such a pity. smiley - sadface

Very true, but much more rewarding.
I mean, who wouldn't want to live in the wheel in 2001?

That's the exact reason I bought bookcases that go to within a foot of the ceiling.
I always wanted one of those suspended beds so that you had the extra floor space underneath it, eg for wardrobes, or desk and so forth.

It appears that half the Aroma Cafe sign is missing again, over on the front page.

Speaking of the front page, don't you think it's about time to update the regulars list, Irv? *cough*

Sun hanging low in my east coast sky... gosh.

What's happening? Where have all these newbies come from? Did I miss something? Three cups of coffee, please. smiley - smileysmiley - smileysmiley - smiley

Yeah, where did they come from? Another TV program?

Or an emailout, possibly. The latest publicity was in Germany.
I think I'd like a hot chocolate, please. Irv, while you're away, perhaps you should use my site URL for your sign, just in case. I'll give you the address via email.

I just checked the Café page and the sign is there. Maybe it's a problem at Ioreth's end? But I may take you up on that offer, Lil.

Ioreth, I'll try to update it one more time before I leave for the summer smiley - winkeye

*Steps into cafe and looks around*
*There is nothing except a pile of newspapers, already yellowing, and a strong smell of fruit and simian*

Ook, wake up fella! Here, take this plastic bag and collect all the rinds and trash and papers. If you clean up nice I'll get the IIEM to produce a coconut and I'll open it up for you.

*changes filters and cleans out residue from IIEM, busses counters and lights incense to eliminate stale smells*

Good lad! IIEM, let me have a coconut, a bowl of water, a machete and a cup of tea, milk and sugar.

*opens coconut for Ook and stores machete under counter, then takes tea to favourite table and waits to see if anyone else will show up*

*Ook fetches scrabble game and looks hopeful*

It's working again! I can post and read forums and everything! This is absolutely amazing! Wow! I'm thrilled.

::sits across from Ook::

Ook, why don't you start the game this time?

And the PerlEx message has been wiped. Do you suppose it was a secret message from Afgncaap5?

I'm glad you enjoy scrabble. I was fixing to disappoint the poor ape.

I don't know what it is. And at the moment Affy is in the guise of the Green Jester for a Masquerade in another forum. I forgot to join it, as I left the previous forum early, vowing not to return until I had come up with a costume. I fully inteded to create a new online persona for the ball, but... c'est la vie! Maybe I'll drop in eventually smiley - winkeye

Dang it, Ook! How do you keep getting the triple word scores and I get nothing??? You win again. Here, have a bannanna...

I love Scrabble... the problem is that I always want to make the interesting words, not the big point ones, so I always lose. But it's fun. Wonder if you can play online? ... Yeah, at a whole bunch of places, though not Yahoo games. Sometime.

I'll have a white hot chocolate, if you please.
