Well, you can argue amongst yourselves about what goes on the toast, but for now, this should keep you happy...

It takes a lot of skill to make toast like this.
This is proven by the fact that, as far as I know, I am the only toaster to have successfully (and without cheating) gained the 1st class honours degree from the Toaster University. All my classmates failed because they kept on over-toasting the toast, or even worse, being lazy and chucking the toast out before it was ready...
They're the sort who give toasters a bad name...
