Uggh, personally, I really don't like shopping.. unless its for things with batteries, like mp3 players and the like, especially with other people's money, but definately not shopping for presents at Christmas.
Caer: The backlog around here is not a patch on the atelier.
BTW, I now actually like coffee IRL, so I can drink it here without feeling I'm lying to everybody.

Its the crowds I don't like. I wish stores opened just for me, like they do for the Queen, then I could walk around at my leisure. What bliss not to have your legs bashed by buggies and bags!
:x, its 2 weeks since I was last here, so the backlog was a bit scary! But I agree, its not as bad as the atelier if you keep up with it.

Shopping on Monday isn't too bad as a lot of shops are closed. It's the weekend that's hectic.

Barneys Bucksaws Posted Dec 11, 2001
I'm an industrial buyer, who hates shopping! Make any sense? If I could do my Christmas shopping like I do buying at work - it would be easy. Just sit at my desk, make a phone call and have it delivered. What bliss! Unfortunately, I have to face the crowded stores like everyone else.

One more thing: My horoscope today said life is hard without your towel. I know there's a hint there, but I can't see it. Any suggestions?

Hi One-eye!
Yes, this place has been a bit quite lately - I guess people are busy elsewhere... it might be time to create a new thread soon, and start with the Christmas decorations...
IIEM, a please!

You're probably right about people being busy elsewhere, lord knows I am! Been in studio with the band this weekend, recorded three songs for our first demo, and we're having our first real gig tomorrow. So the past month or so has been all about rehearsing, and of course trying to fit that in with working a good deal of overtime as well. Haven't even though about buying s yet...

BB, got a cuppa?

Yep, 8,000.
I was born on January 18th 1980.
Since then there have been leap years in 1980, 84,88,92,96 & 2000,
so that is 6x366 = 2,196 days
I'm 21 years old 21 years - the 6 leap years = 15 normal years x 365 = 5,475
2,196 + 5,475 = 7,671
+ 346 (this is the 346th day of the year) = 8,017
8,017 - 17 days of January before I was born = 8,000!

Happy Birthday Bluebottle, I really should finish my Christmas shopping sometime. I've got gifts for most of the people at school, but my family is a lot more difficult to buy for.
