Have we lost a day somewhere? Smells like sunday...

*Washes up*
*Puts v/_\3 on*
*Is currently boycotting Radio 1*
I've been boycotting Radio 1 for so long now, I can't remember. But I've come to the conclusion that all the really good stuff isn't played on Radio 1, so for Radio 1 to refuse to play it is a sign of quality.
Examples include:
The Beatles - A Day In The Life
The Beatles - Free As A Bird & Real Love
Cliff Richard - Pretty much everything in the last 10 years, despite him getting a Number 1
Delirious? - Everything.

You make me curious about Delirious.
Can I have a tea, please?

I'm not really the best person to talk to about Delirious? as I only have a couple of their singles.
I'm old fashioned. I prefer Charles Wesley and Graham Kendrick.
As it is said:
Anyone can sing a Graham Kendrick song,
Anyone can sing a Graham Kendrick song,
You just make the words up as you go along,
Anyone can singgggggggggggg a Kendrick song!!!!!!!

I wrote an atricle about Charles Wesley:

Not one of my best articles, though - it's on my list of ones to update & improve.
Graham Kendrick was the Noel Richards of the 1980s, (Noel Richards being the Noel Richards of the early 1990s). Apparently the Noel Richards of the late 1990s is Matt Redman, but I prefer Noel Richards.
Ask Yeliab.

I don't think that Radio One aren't playing Delirous? on purpose. Chris Moyles has been talking about the people who keep on E-mailing him about Delirious? I don't know if you heard it but the basic thing is that he's not playing Delirious? because he's never heard of them. Which is fair enough.
I hope you're feeling better today Lizzy.

No I am here, just checking in late at night, sorry.
I must say that I don;t listen to Radio 1, only rfeally classicFM and 5Live, and then CD's. Do you go to Church somewhere round here BB?
I must say that I don;t know alot about Nore or Matt, though I have herd of Kendrick and infact my friend goes to University with his niece or something (this was found out when she remarked that she didn't like one of his songs while standing next to the niece!)
IIEM, a latte, no cafe thanks. *Frothed warm milk appears in hand as Delirious? plays in room. A serriene orange light streems from the lampshade and bathes the wallls in warmth. A chill outside make the warm dovet inviting*
I think I'll retire to bed if you don't mind. See you all tomorrow.

Hi all - uh - anyone?
Now, if I could just locate Springie and the bottle - then I aught to be able to synchronize my continuity problems...

I go to Netley Christian Fellowship, in Netley, over the river from Southampton, although I have often attended Above Bar and the Baptist. I went to Southampton Community Church once, but never again as it was Remembrance Day and they refused to mention it, and did not have a 2-minute silence. They also had flute-fighters, I believe....
Noel Richards & I have been on stage together, you know...

Wow cool, I go to Southampton Christian Fellowship in Northam which is great. I also went to Community once and it rather scared me, and I never went again.
IIEM, may I have a cafe latte.
Does anyone know why corsly ground coffee in a filter takes just ages to make yet if you put fine ground to espresso it goes through in no time? Hmm, oh well.

Yep - I was the overhead projectionist.
He actually told me I was the best overhead projectionist he'd seen... You see, overhead projetors are often ignored. People bung teh words on the screen, sing the song, forget that they have an overhead projector, and wonder why everyone stops singing when th words have come to the end. I, however, over years of being an overhead projectionist at church, have developed several different scrolling speeds and styles that perfectly match the song being sung and the way in which it has been presented on the acetate. Operating an overhead projector can be an artform, and Noel Richards recognised my talent.
*Wonders if he can get away with writing something like that and not be hated*
Where are you, Yeliab? I'm in Murray & I can't see you....

Building 25, quite fare away then and infact I'm just leaving to go home and work on laplace transforms. Nice.
Ahh, the overhead projectionist, yes that is a key job and greatly needed. The only problem I find is that when the OHPists forget that the pople at the back may be shortsighted and cant see right at the top of the projection (where it gets faided).
Do you ever go to CU on fridays?

Bluebottle Posted Nov 22, 2001
Building 25 - I went there once, and the mouse didn't have a scroll wheel!
I sometimes go to CU, but not that often as all the people I used to go to CU with have now left Southampton Uni and I don't know anyone there.
The OHP need not get faded at the top if you align the projector and screen correctly

I'm a regular there. (though it's at 8:45 in Murry this week). And I see the projection problem, so you really need a forward angled screen.
I must go and do maths, have a good afternoon

The last time I did the projecter at my church I got mixed up on a few songs. Operating that machine really is very technical.
