I'm hoping for snow too, Lizzy.
On New Year's Eve, we went out for the day and only 8 miles down the road, there was snow! It's sooo unfair.
When I was a child we had huge snowfalls, particularly the winter of 62/63. Last time we had a snow fall like it here was in 85/86, I may be a year out, but I remember it going over the top of No1 son's wellies when he was about 5.

It's so unfair! I really don't need all this snow here. As the matter of the fact I'd be happy to go without the most of it.

the same thing happens here. no snow where i live. but a few miles up the road in the Forest there is snow! not much, but snow!
