It is! But it's been very warm. The poor irises have popped out of the ground, they're so confused!

hmmm, must be the weather it never was reliable, even 6 million years ago, infact this is the most stable it's been in a long time.
I'm not suprised it's changing at last.

Apparently we've had one of the longest autumns ever here. The trees still have leaves on, even though it's December, because we haven't had a frost yet to kill the last ones off. Poor trees, must be confused

I'm enjoying it! We're going into the city to see the tree, and I'll be very happy to wander the streets of Manhattan for Christmas when it's 70°!

Oh happy the joys of Winter when the rain pours and the wind blows, but when the sun shines and heat fills the hearts of the world with dread for it is a sign.
Thought I'd let my Creative side go again,
No it seems good, we havn't put up our tree yet although I'm glad ours is plastic and just a symbol. . we don'y have enough decorations realy, but I'd be happy with a bare tree, It looks more healthy.

I have to buy a new (plastic) Christmas tree this year. We've moved to a bigger house so the tiny 2ft tree we had for the tiny place we used to stay in just looks daft in its new surroundings. I thought I'd get a tree with fake snow and pine cones on it ... or does that sound un

er no that sounds cool, it's just that some part of me likes green trees that are green and not covered with tinsel.

I know what you mean. I like plenty of green showing on the tree - but the one I was going to get has just a dusting of fake snow. Pine cones look fairly natural and convincing from a distance, but might not stand up to closer examination.
I don't like a lot of decorations either. Simple but stylish - my Christmas tree that is ... not me
