A Conversation for Talking Point: Parental Responsibility

It's entirely down to me

I have two adult sons (the elder reminded me this week he is 32, which came as a shock). I was/ have been a single working parent from the time the younger was six months old, That they are kind, funny and interesting men is entirely due to me. Any faults they have (invisible to me) were caused by their absent father or their odd schoolteachers or their crazy peers: I WAS once told by a stupid teacher that the older son's friends were a bad influence on the younger son.
If your kids turn out as well as mine, you're doing something rightsmiley - starsmiley - star

OK - from which troop? At what age (and therefore in what country?) did your peers have the most effect?
