I'm pretty sure that Mister Seymour was thinking of Dennis Moore's horse.

*Clears her throat and sings:*
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Galloping through the sward
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
And his horse concorde
He steals from the rich
And gives to the poor
Mr Moore, Mr Moore, Mr Moore
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Riding through the night
Soon every lupin in the land
Will be in his mighty hand
He steals them from the rich
And gives them to the poor
Mr Moore, Mr Moore, Mr Moore
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Dum dum dum the night
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Dum de dum dum plight
He steals dum dum dum
And dum dum dum dee
Dennis dum, Dennis dee dum dum dum
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Riding through the woods
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
With his bag of things
He gives to the poor
And takes from the rich
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Riding through the land
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Without a merry band
He steals from the poor
And gives to the rich
Stupid B****.

E got me the entire collection of Monty Python on DVD for X-mas. Now I have to go find the Dennis Moore song.
Miller is one of my favorite comedians. The problem with him as a sportscaster was that he kept his humor on the same level as usual, rather than bringing it to the same level as he other hosts.
But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I've never heard the works of Dennis Miller.
But I was thinking of Monty Python and the Holy Grraille when I named my elephant.

::enchanted by the Dennis Moore song::
I wonder if he is related to Thomas More... or Thomas Moore, two entirely different authors...
::Crickets chirp::

Given the choice between a - partially at least - trained spider and crickets, I fear that I'll have to take the spider, any day.
*Jenny, having been startled by the crickets, is now frolicking in the surf. she pulls a massive amount of water into her trunk, then sprays down the other elephants on the beach*
Good thing she's got excellent aim. Otherwise, we'd be all wet.

I drove to the mall yesterday(a big accomplishment, since I am preparing to FINALLY take my driver's test), and my elephant is still there!!! He is about two feet tall, three feet long, brassy, and CUTE AS HADES!!!
He's even on sale... from $3700 to $2500... hermmm... only the price of a semester's tuition and books... or a nice set of living room furniture...
