Did you have anyone in mind?
Or you volunteering? There's not enough fire involved for my liking...

*Completely tongue-tied at the moment because Zed spoke directly to her!*

Ahem. Sorry about that folks.
Hang on a minute though. Look at this! Although things are fireproof here, they're not immune to smoke damage. Someone's written something in wax on the parchment. I can't understand it myself. Looks Egyptian. Mari-rae, have you retained any knowledge from your previous guise of hyrogliphics?(sp?)

Linus...42, i guess that makes me the answer... Posted Jun 15, 2000
I hope so because my knowledge only extends as far as "Asterix and Cleopatra" LOL

Yes, umm, let me see... It says, "What do you say when you see a two-headed monster? Over."
*Turns the page over.*
"Hello, hello."
Maybe I got that wrong.

Jim the Wonder Llama (back from yonder) Posted Jun 16, 2000

Hannah was talking about a two headed monster over at
http://www.h2g2.com/A358814
but I don't know if it's related.

*They all stare blankly at the parchment thinking of the clue Zed has given them: "Look behind the Midnight Howling fourteen paces west of the Green-eyed Yellow Idol."*
My brain is starting to hurt.

Zed, we aren't exactly clueless, but we don't get this.

Bluebottle Posted Jun 19, 2000
Alicia Silverstone is clueless, I'm told.
Haven't seen it, though.

Well, as long as we are in the kitchen I'll make us something.
*Begins opening cupboards and the fridge, assessing what's there. Soon the kitchen fills with the delicious aromas of broiling steaks, frying potatoes, fresh veggies, and crisp salads. Not forgetting the hot biscuits with slabs of butter. Also, a big pasta salad and a fruit salad.
Followed of course by 'special' brownies...
passage behind the bookcase...
Kumabear Posted Jun 20, 2000
mmmmmmmmmmm......biscuits.................
*walks over and opens cupboard.......sign on it says "FORBIDDEN".....cupboard is filled with donuts! Begins devouring forbidden donuts.*

*Watches Baron to see if he will try the potion, while wondering what it will do. Doesn't think Zed would ever hurt a true believer.*

Kumabear Posted Jun 20, 2000
*mouth full. begins to sweat. Eyes zed suspiciously. feels pain in stomach. Drains bottle of potion. Waits expectantly for either potion or donuts to do their thing.*
