A Conversation for The Church of the True Brownie

I unfortunately haven't ever come across a Brownie up here, though I am familiar with them... Nope, we only have boy and girl scouts...
The girl scouts always make me laugh... they keep the same status throughout, even up to high school, while the boy scouts move up in rank... rather curious. Oh, not to get yelled by anyone, that is how they operate up here, not sure about every other place in this world.
Reminds me of Wednesday Adams... " Are those cookies made with real Girl Scouts?"

I agree, I shouldn't have tried that meat flavored brownie. I'll stick to caramel from now on.........

Yep!The boy scouts move up to be Rangers over here....*visions of Babylon 5 spring to mind*
The only way to go for the girls was to become a Queens Guide!
Anyway....where are my Rum Brownies Monsy?

a church that propagates good cooking as a way of life?
I can't hardly believe what I'm going to do now....
can I join? please? I'd love to help our revered abbess bake her brownies and serve coffee with it...
hail the brownie...

Hmm... what shall your title be? Official server?
hail the brownie...
marvthegrate LtG KEA Posted Nov 8, 1999
I will have to think on that one for a bit. Hmmmmmm.... What to name as title?
hail the brownie...

Given her choice of beverage, how about "Chaplain du Cafe"? (French pronunciaton sounds better)
hail the brownie...
Researcher 99947 Posted Nov 9, 1999
Ack! I utterly hate French (the feelings are mutual, last I heard)!!
Camarera del café is much better
hail the brownie...
kats-eyes (psychically confirmed caffeine addict) Posted Nov 10, 1999
I don't mind the language - but I do like the idea, Mustapha!
even coffee chaplain is nice... leaving this to Archbishop Grate, I'll get on serving...
*fills mugs with coffee*... anybody want some?
hail the brownie...
Mustapha Posted Nov 10, 1999
Coffee chaplain! I like the sound of it, has a kind of olive-drab, in-the-trenches, army quality to it!
hail the brownie...

oh my, here is one of those strange personality changes that seem to come with getting religious...
Can't it better be a hot-black, stand-up-and-fight, revival quality?
Alas, my brothers and sisters, am I not here solely to provide you with a tiny little help to get through the tasks this church imposes on us?
Like ducking the inquisition, hiding our tithes *hides a few brownies under her robe*, "borrowing" tequila, "tasting" brownies fresh from the alta...oven....
SO *assumes commandering voice*:
Drink your Coffee and Pray!

speaking of which:
dearest danielt - your coffee is virtually standing in front of you for about 2 hours now... luckily virtual coffee doesn't get cold. Unless it's iced coffee, naturally - which doesn't melt.
For delivery of real coffee you'd have to provide some adress - but I'm in no way responsible for the temperature by arrival .
okay - I just leave another cup behind the altar, see:

On a purely technical note kids, this forum is getting very long and I have been told ny the good people of h2g2 that we may want to move into a shorter forum. -Archbishop Marv
