You have led an absolutely fascinating life! I am much more mundane and would like to introduce myself. I am also "of a certain age". I enjoy music and literature. I have been a mental health counselor for several years; but I am currently taking a break for a while in order to spend more time with my children. I am a great cook and a terrible housekeeper. I spend a lot of time on the computer -- mostly on eBay 
. I was introduced to h2g2 by a young mutual friend. I believe you all call him "Affy". I have seen some of your artwork and am amazed at your skill. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself. I hope you are having a good holiday season. Earth Mother
