since I have less than enough operating brain cells to be mensa material, I just gotta know does the mensa org have picnics? or wet t-shirt contests like we do at our family reunions?

Dang! Another thread slipped beneath my radar! I wish we were automatically notified when someone strikes up a conversation on one of our outlying pages!
Mensans do what most other people do, but sometimes with observably less common sense. 
The blokes would be well in favour of wet tee shirt contests.
I'm not in Mensa any more -- couldn't face the dues when I wasn't actually doing anything -- but they can't take my IQ away from me.
