No problem - Just as long as I have a rough idea of who's coming when, with whom and (in several cases) how often it'll all pan out alright I expect.
I'll drop each of you a note of my landline and my new mobile number etc, and we can take it from there, perhaps.
I think it'd be best if we did it properly and those who want to, turn up on Thursday night (get to the station and I'll come and collect you) ready for the off on Friday...
we'll have to sort out a time for when you, RF, turn up on Friday for Asylum - perhaps meet up on Friday afternoon in Margate (which is only a couple of train stops down from Hernia Bay) or... something. I don't mind staying sober on the Friday if it means using my car to make everyone's life easier. The Witchmobile is still very creaky, but with luck she'll last thru till her next MOT if I drive steady
BTW - is MMF going to stay over as well? I took it as read he would be although I haven't officially suggested it to him.
One more isn't going to make a lot of difference I'd have thought!
Right. Now apart from Earl Grey Tea, is there anything else I should know about dietry requirements for anyone? I know I'm pretty safe if it involves garlic for 2 Legs, but is there anything any of you lot can't eat/won't eat foodwise?

I'm away for a while at the end of this month but I cna't work out dates or anything as I'm hopeless at that organising thinggy that people sometimes talk about, but I recon I shoudl be able still to come even if it'l be me traveling in to London or whereever to get there via a differnt starting place I think I must work out dates and what I@m doing

Once you've figured which way is up 2 Legs, let me know what you're intending doing and I shall attempt to organise floor space/food, meeting up points
As long as we ca all meet up at some yet to be arranged time and venue inMargate on Good Friday, then it should all work out alright

This is a good point, and one that ocured to me, too
I'd imagine trains on Good Friday will be a Sunday Service type of arrangement. Sporadic in other words
I was in Margate today, and the Festival opens at Midday on Good Friday - if you travelled down that day it'd mean one heck of an early start for you
What I'd suggest you do is get yourself to Hernia Bay on the Thursday afternoon/evening - it's a pretty straight run from Victoria on the Thursday evening - I can collect you from the station, no problem - just let me know roughly when you'll be arriving. Which reminds me, I ought to email you lot my new mobile, didn't I? I think I've found the number at last!
Did you get my last email, btw?
I think young Roymondo is going to out on the rat on the Thursday evening a bit further down the coast - I can either drive you there (wherever the "there" is) that evening, so you hook up with him and his mates, as where hs staying is (at a pinch) within walking distance of Margate... and re meet up on the Friday *in Margate..
or you can just stay over Thursday night (and possibly have a couple of bottles of wine or so) and I'll sort out train times to get us to Margate on the Friday - or if push comes to shove I'll drive us down to Margate
I like a drink, but it doesn't worry me if I have to be sober for chauffering duties
Let me know whats easiest/most practical for you and I'll work with it, OK?

blimey... yeh... something like that I'll have to figure it out and things So I'll try and figure out my location prior to the meet soon, so I know where I'vm travelling from, if from here, you see, Londons nearby (50 mins or thereish) away, but If I'm travelling to London from a differnt location that bit itself will take over 2 hours and... something, yeh. and I can yeh I'll think about somethign

I *think* I get the gist
If it'll help you with logistics and stuff, Victoria to Herne Bay takes around an hour and 20 minutes(ish) with possibly a change a Faversham if they're being mardy
Like I said, let me know what you want to do, and I'll work around it.
If you're not travelling from "home" where *will you be travelling from?
Or is that bit not set in stone yet, as such?

If I'm not travelling from home, I.E., Cambridge, then I'd be travelling from my Dads, in Lowestoft, Suffolk, though thinking about it, I'd much prefer to travel from here If I can, actually, even with dodgy sunday service on the Friday, if I were travleling from Cambridge, I'd still be able to get there middayish I recon without having to leave too early, I shoudl probably go check out some train times well I'd recon it'd be nearly three hours from Cambridge, including taxiing to the station chanign about in London to get to the right stations etc and all that kinda thing My heads not on properly today, I'll ahve to have a proper think about this... Did you say you'd sent me an Email? which Email address did you use, the hotmail one?
One would very much like to attend if one may
Moving On Posted Mar 11, 2007
No, it wasn't the hotmail one - I think it had a "21" in it somewhere.
Can't remember!
A "sendable to" e mail would be kinda handy in that case

Righeo; I'm to my bed now young Leglets - have a think and let me know the whys whens hows and with whoms and I'll have a gibber and a panic and probably forget all the arrangements and run round like a headless chicken for a few mionutes, and then remember what it is I'm supposed to be doing
Night Night

You know, it'd really help if someone had taught me how to read a calender Here was me getting all worried that I had too many conflicting things at the same time, but it turned out well once I go read the calender. Right, now this ere beer thing is the Friday and Saturday, which is the 6 and 7th of April? right, so the 31st and 1st march/April, is the weekend before when I can be at my Dads still... so the 28th March, my hospital appointment is before that whilst I'll still be at my Dads, and so the 26th (a monday), is the day I can travel from Norwich to my Dads, and therefore the 24th March, a Saturday is a fortnight before this ere beer fest meet, and so I can travel from Cambridge to Norwich for a weekend of and so, then the 17th March, this Saturday is a couple days away and so that is all fine and good, and I should have time to wash my hair and do some laundry and such like Right... yeh this is majorly doable and so I recon I can travel up to wherever this meet thing is from Cambridge So what sort of time on the Friday is we likely to want to all meet and such like? then I can work out if I can make it from cambridge to the meet on the train on the Friday or weather I'll need to travel back to Cambridge on the wednesday/thursday or something to travel up to the meet thing on the Thursday or something Oh heck now I've confused myself again wheres the damidy calender gone

Beer Festival starts at Noon on the Friday 2 Legs, so at the latest we should all be met up (probably outside Margate Station forecourt) by say 11.30am I reckon
I'm going away for a week, but can you liase with Roy, RF and MMF, as they are the other major culpritts in this venture and let me know what/when/who/how, etc at some juncture?
Ta!
Oh...and btw, did my email get thru to you this time?
