The french do 1 litre glasses. Wow.

A pint is just the right size. 1 litre is a bit heavy to grip once the intoxication hits.
You can't go wrong with 568ml.
But still, it looks good and feels great to sit and drink from a 1 litre glass.

I think you should -start- with a litre, then progress downwards in size as you slide off the bar stool!

Or alternatively, you could just but lots of bottles, and stagger about with them...

Nah, bottles are expensive, as you pay for the bottle. But with a pint, you give the glass back, so it's cheaper.

yes but empty bottles make great, er...um...somthings.

yea that's it, but glasses are better because they are eisier to refill.

You can get pint glasses with handles in the UK, they are just a bit rare thats all.

I can't rember if the pubs we went to in Ireland had handels on the glasses or not.....those nights are a bit blury.
