Well, being a Firkin virtual pub, we've got to have one. Perhaps an egg-timer shaped, Java coded pool table. No, that's not original (or loud) enough. Any ideas?

Oh oh - it appears you actually know the rules... My idea of darts involes throwing lots of sharp pointy things at a foam board while consuming lots of - quite a dangerous pasttime actually, when you think about it...

Playing pool in this skirt i might get arrested.... Hello, Its just everyones favourite flirting waitress popping in for a qick pint after work...
Now what does a girl have to do to get a drink around here???

As long as it's pool you mean and not pocket billiards. For a start, I don't have any pockets...

No one seems to play "shove-a-penny" in pubs anymore, or that weird game like Skittles but with a ball on a string, nor Bagatelle. It's all arcade machines, darts or pool. *sigh*

Oh yes, Bagatelle. Now as I recall, I used to frequent a pub that did have that, and played it occasionally. Sometime during my studenthood, so a few years ago. But can I heck remember which pub it was. Pubs, pubs, so many pubs...
You realise this is going to be bugging me all day now?

OK, I'm sure I'm going to be sorry, but can someone please tell me what Bagatelle is? (I'm a Canadian - perhaps my ignorance is cultural - I just hope the rules are less involved than cricket...)

I've confused myself now. (No change there.) What I was thinking of was bar billiards.
Bagatelle is that primitive version of pinball, am I correct?

not quite - I found the answer here: http://www.britannica.com/bcom/eb/article/1/0,5716,11881+1,00.html
Its a version of Billiards apparently - I reckon its Bar Billiards by a posher name!

Good grief no. Already got a piece of plastic instead of one eye. Tiddlywinks can get quite vicious. I've seen the Oxford 1st 11, don't you know.
How about dominoes?
Pass the pigs? I've always wanted to roll a double leaning jowler.

How about the vegetarian version - Pass the Parsnips?
Or how about Jenga with real steel girders?
