On the news tonight (well BBC News 24 if that counts as news) - apparently in Bangkok you can hail a Karaoke Taxi. Gives you something to do on the way to wherever - ask the driver for a songlist, choose your song and you can sing away to your heart's content to a backing tape. You can even request the cab driver to sing a number - sure beats the usual racist knee-jerk right wing banter you get from most cabbies here...
