You can call me TC

Thanks for those instructions, MMF. Will a travelcard cover the train or do I have to get a separate ticket at Waterloo?

MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship.

TC, a travelcard (zones one-four) including BR will cover everything, but an Oystercard is better, as it can be pre-loaded with, say £5:00, and used as often as you like, and once it reaches the daily travelpass limit, no longer takes money (I think) off of the card but please check that. It can then be used for any further trips to Nodnol as it is valid forever... until they change it again. Hope that helps!

Pay as you go Oyster cards are not valid on mainline trains (Red Ken's trying to persuade the train companies but hasn't succeeded Yet...), they only accept the season ticket ones which ain't a lot of use for visitors.

...and tfl is very chauvinistic as well... smiley - cross

Yesterday I tried to register my oyster card in order to add some more money. But, you can only register an UK address.

So, registred myself c/o Mr DQ and got my registration. Did that help? Nu-uh. When I entered my credit card I was denied "billing address and registred address not the same" smiley - weird

So now I must stand in them queues again to top my oyster card...

Don't really understand that chauvinistic policy. OK, I assume we're not that many "overseas" with an oyster card, but I can't cause tfl any big harm to collect our shekels online.

Oyster cards can be used on a handful of local services in London, but that probably won't affect anyone travelling in from outside London.

And the first animal on the list is 'BADGER'!

And it is just down the road from me. Want me to check it out? smiley - winkeye

I'll get to the Anchor at some point Friday, as I have decided to treat myself to a day out in the Tower of London. I last went there in the 1960's and it is so close.

Would they let you in, dressed as a badger? You might frighten the ravens.

If you have a look at all the ravens on hootoo, then they're all too young to be allowed to go to the pub. smiley - biggrin

Don't worry, they'll not be allowed into the pub - the landlords in England are quite strict with that. Remember, we'll be in the bar area smiley - ok

Can't call kids Tykes.

I can think of many other words though, but there are Ladis present.
