kea pointed out (in another thread) that my description of the pronunciation for taniwha might be misleading... esp with people who rrrrrroll the Rs
So... instead of
<< there are taniwhaPronounced 'tar knee far' ...
How about...
>> there are taniwhaPronounced 'tah knee fah' ...
Great to see you have retained the bit " as in all Maori words, there's equal emphasis on all syllables"
