It is my dear one's 50th birthday and I restrained myself from telling everyone as I thought he would be unchuffed at being a known wrinkly. I'm doing discrete champagne and birthday cake instead!

ThirdAndLast (potty training at present) just gave me his roll which he clearly does not want. I may have to go do another good deed, this time for the carpet. MyDearOne has gone with FirstAndForemost and SecondToNone to do some sailing, while I stay at home with ThirdAndLast. Does that count as a birthday present, or just a good deed? ThirdAndLast just brought me a used potty. The joy.

My husband's niece has failed 4 exams at Uni
, and I have spent 2 hours on the phone encouraging her 
that she CAN do it, she WILL do it and as the re-sits are quite soon, she'd better do it soon. This is a regular good deed, every time she has a crisis!

Gave up my nice (read comfortable) chair at work to a pregnant colleague and took her nasty (read very uncomfortable) chair to replace it.

Oh I forgot, yesterday someone was choking on an orange segment so I did back slaps then abdominal thrusts to remove orange.
