..are you sure you are not being a little bit racist here, blaming a whole country for what you consider the ills of the world
No .. it's not racism but a criticism of a system
There are many US citizens who don't agree with what's going on .. after all, there are a large number of fundamentalist Christians in USA, and they are well aware of the significance of Book of Revelation, with its 'prostitute and military nation' prophecy .. who's in charge of the UN ?
I think it's clear that there will be nuclear warheads detonated in the future .. probably in the middle-east .. a huge number of muslims will die
ie. they will be martyred
The legality of detonating nuclear weapons is very tricky .. but if a large army is marching towards you, I'm sure that some will say that it's an acceptable defence

but you don't critisize the system, you lay the blame with america
and now in the latest version china
why don't you just say its the fault of the jews and be done with it???

No.
I'm stopping now:
that last one is just too much to parse: a Muslim saying fundamentalist christians in the U.S. (a notoriously Zionist lot) have it right; mysterious questions about who's in charge of the U.N. (I thought it was the Korean guy); promises that nuclear weapons are going to be detonated in the Middle East. . .
Too much. Too much.

Even by Warner's standards, this is getting bizarre.
'Prostitute and military nation prophecy anyone? I'm blank, and so's Google.
Muslims will 'die, i.e. be martyred' - presumably they won't be starting this war then? Just totally innocent bystanders, right?
'Western civilisation' is based on the USA - certainly Britain has had no influence on the US, right?
Etc.
I come here when xkcd gets too easy to understand...

'The Great Prostitute and the Beast' that is mentioned in book of revelation
Answer to Job

A thought/question growing out of my ongoing rereading of Jung's Answer to Job:
Jesus instructs us to pray with the 'Lord's Prayer', which includes a request seemingly more appropriately directed to Satan ...
'Lead us not into temptation ...'
Does God actively lead us into temptation? What's with that?
Answer to Job

Do you think that perhaps it effectively means
"save us from temptation" ?
.. I've always thought so
Then, of course, you might say "what is temptation?"
On which I would reply that it is a deed or deeds that might seem appealing to us, but whose consequences are not good for us (or society)
ie. evil
So.. we ask Almighty God not to give us such a test that we will seriously fail. We seek His Mercy & Forgiveness for our sins, and there is not one of us who is totally pure.
[ As is Almighty God who is *NOT* a person ]

And there was me thinking the Bible also said we were 'made in God's image'. I'd always been told that was 'spiritually' in his image (whatever that means), but it appears God is 'pure' and we are not, so apparently yodon't think we are 'in his image'...?
