That Mansong thing was really funny
(It was predictable, but even here they poured in)
What a clever idea
(The Monstrous Regiment)
It amused us so much
(Wimmin of a certain age)
We menfolk don't have any problem with our self-esteem, of course
(Wimmin declaring themselves, asserting themselves)
It's wonderful that no-one is oppressed on this site
(Wimmin who are truly horrible)
It's refreshing that there is true gender equality here
(Wimmin who are definitively vile)
The idea of a Garden Shed was just a piece of fun, of course
(They are aggressive and they are whiskery)
Us blokes don't really need a place where we can forget our womenfolk
(They are flabby and they are repugnant)
Of course we don't
(They all have something profoundly wrong with their ugly heads and we cannot deal with it)
Society is so much more pleasant now that we have this understanding of equality
(They whine, they screech, they scream and grate)
Women bring so much to our daily lives
(We hate them, hate them, hate them)
This is so much better for everyone that what went before
(Men need their space too)
We've realised at last that we men didn't enjoy privileged status
(Wimmin violate it)
Women are lovely
(They are truly vile)
They improve us
(They are an abomination)
Thank you for redeeming our folly
(Please, just go away)
We never realised what we were missing
(Go die somewhere)
You make our lives complete
(You are unforgiveable, repulsive, sickening, all of you)
Sharing and being together is so much better than our former isolation
(Just please, please, please leave us alone)
We love you all
(Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!)

We might get a few Molotovs under the door now.
Not that I'm criticising the build quality of course

I think it was probably just a writing experiment.
I can't quite remember why I wrote it.
I'm fairly sure I didn't mean it.
Well, I mean I didn't exactly mean it. Not like it was 100%, utterly heartfelt...
That said, there are a lot of hootoo women who'd crash anything, and presume the welcome. OK, there are some blokes like that too, but there isn't the same collective assumption among the men of a right to behave that way.
And I confess I find it a bit wearing when mature ladies keep acting like giddy girls. Occasionally, fine. Persistently...well, cringe.
Maybe the Garden Shed isn't meant to be the place where angels fear to tread.
I can't help wishing there was one, though.
