Her indoors has taken to making salads for dinner during the summer months. Too hot to cook in the kitchen, which I agree with. I've done a couple of bbqs already to save oon heating up the inside of the house.

But is it just another excuse to try one of those diet things? And get me eating healthier? Better not be, or I'm off down the pub for steak and chips

I only eat salad once it's been processed.

As far as I can tell dietary control is just part of the wider master plan to assert total household domination. What you wear, watch, eat, think (I'm pretty sure she knows what I'm thinking) you have to choose which battles are worth fighting and which aren't, it's the only way, in my view.
