I'm doing French in school, so if we combine my knowledge of modern French and medieval English that's medieval French right there.
I can read Chaucer with minimal glosses, if that helps.

Hey Wilma! We're controversial! There are *counts on fingers* one... two people who don't like us. Isn't this exciting? See what happens when you go on vacation! That's why CEOs don't.

Well, when you put it that way... it is kinda funny. And all that debate has been civilised, by default. Welcome back, btw. When you said 'hold the fort' did you expect a siege?

No I didn't, and I am so sorry for landing you in it on your own... Internet access in Leb is so incredibly slow as to make the experience worthless otherwise I would have come on every evening.
Gotta go now, but I'll talk to you later.

An idea...
Maybe you should add at the bottom a list of the threads where people've been discussing FootiNooti and a little notice: if you have any questions about footinooti, if you don't like it, if things like "stupid name" and "passive aggressive" are floating around your head, please read all of the following to ensure that your reservations have not been already addressed, before posting.
Only because it seems to be very repetative.
Whatevah. It's an idea.

...and somebody mentioned footinooti at another forum. Just so you can... we call it 'shep nachas'. It means be proud of what you've accomplished, usually used to describe the feeling when you realize your kids didn't turn out that bad after all

See, I've read that and read that and I *know* it's not me. It just doesn't compute.. So I can ... what?
Ok, now, 'shep nachas', is that nachas, like nachos or nachas like nakhas? I have to be able to pronounce it to say it
*pokes Leo for confusing her at 2:20 am*
