For some reason this made me
It probably would have fractured my irony meter, but it's out for repair anyway...

Taliesin, what did you expect? An oh so enlightened leader who rather has his disciples produce children with congenital AIDS than use condoms - so what are a few aircraft bombed out of the sky, amongst true believers...

'Western Prince William Del. Bob Marshall, R-13th, says disabled children are God’s punishment to women who have aborted their first pregnancy. '

I wonder what disabled children born to women who have never had an abortion are God's punishment for.

I wonder why god is punishing the child.

>>"I wonder what disabled children born to women who have never had an abortion are God's punishment for."
Oh, I'm sure a [male] religious nutcase could easily blame a woman for making an early miscarriage or failure-to-implant happen just by wishing for it, or by not wanting a child badly enough, even if she wasn't aware anything had happened.
But Gaaaawwwd would know, and punish accordingly.
Given the kind of complete hatstand nonsense that such people believe, believing *that* should take no effort at all.

My problem is: do they really believe the nonsense they spout, or do they just rent TV time to publish an account# where to tithe? It´s a multimillion market, after all.

What a nightmare for the boy!
'At first glance, high school senior Lucas Faber, 18, seems like any ordinary gay teen. He's a member of his school's swing choir, enjoys shopping at the mall, and has sex with other males his age. But lately, a growing worry has begun to plague this young gay man. A gnawing feeling that, deep down, he may be a fundamentalist, right-wing Christian.
"I don't know what's happening to me," Faber admitted to reporters Monday. "It's like I get these weird urges sometimes, and suddenly I'm tempted to go behind my friends' backs and attend a megachurch service, or censor books in the school library in some way. Even just the thought of organizing a CD-burning turns me on."'

actually, if he's the sort who hangs around U.S. Megachurches, he'll end up graduating to male prostitutes and other men's wives.

It's a rare moment that notat lest one computer is logged on to hootoo in this house.
on a different subject, have you noticed that facebook page (million Darwinists) is rapidly approaching the 400,000 mark while the origional (million non-Darwinists) is struggling to make the 200,000 mark?
There's some comfort in numbers.

you come up as a fan of the million who believe in Darwin. If you go to the Info tab on that one there's a link to the 170,000 who don't believe Darwin.
