*there are several stalls placed in a half circle here, with plenty of space to display the very best samples of this year's harvest*
*the only thing that remains is for someone to host the competition*

*Enters the tent and sees that it is empty*
Oh, too bad. I would have really liked to have shown off my magnificent gourd.
*Puts a gourd on one of the stands.*
See! It's shaped just like a flamingo! An orange and slightly warty flamingo, but a flamingo all the same. I added the legs myself, of course, but it looks just like a flamingo even without them. And without the eyes I painted on, too.
Gee, it really is too bad no one is here. I was hoping to see the lady with the big mellons.

Now, what is this, young man? *adjusts her specs, peering near-sightedly*
Very nice, very nice - but you had better watch your language young man!
*stern look aimed at GL over the rim of the specs*

No, no, Hati! Don't be fooled. This flamingo is really just a gourd. I grew it myself and I'm entering it here in the "fruit/vegetable-that-resembles-something-else" category. Looks like I'm the only entrant so far. Although, there was rumour of a woman who had grown a pair of enourmous mellons, but that would probably be in a different category altogether.

Oh, great!
That woman wasn't me. I grow only and they never grow big enough to enter any contest. I eat them!
