and a visit to the new site [WW2] might provide me with some extra details... i think it's possible to ask questions there... so they'll get a visit from me pretty soon...
kat... there is a magazine and i'm pretty sure that it showed how to build one of the robots.. might have been a reduced model tho'... but still

loup i have looked it and it's very interesting. i have had a quick look at the discover essex page and is alot of information on wildlife and protected areas. i have never been to tilbury fort since i have been here in grays.

that reminds of the story when all the little ships and boats left for england to rescue the soldiers on the beach of france, some boats must have come from the essex area to rescue the soldiers.

hi loup another tip to find about local essex (historical) news is though local newspapers. some local newspapers have news stories that go back 10 or 20 years or more.

loup this indeed a very good entry. it reminds me of the history classes i used to have about the various tribes that came from europe and settled here. english was very different then and more like german although there were norman influences.
