Well, to some punk. The Offspring have a few different songs, as do The Sex Pistols.

Well, I would care if it was exactly the same. It's going to similar- otherwise you wouldn't call it punk- but I would rather it wasn't the same.

I suppose. But you get a fair bit of music in films, and a fair amount of songs have music videos. Besides, quite often, a song tells a story or makes a point, which a film often does as well. And many play straight to the emotions- just songs tend to do it rather less nauseatingly.

I'm not so sure, for myself. Some of the early stuff might not have a video. Live recordings don't count.

Well the only stuff I listen to is on KERRANG and SCUZZ so it has to have a video.

Oh, right. Well, the roots of all that are sometimes really fantastic, but they may not have videos.

I'll check it out, but there tends to be a barrier of heaviness beyond which I don't go.

I generally listen to the opening riff and the first two verses and then change if its too light or too heavy or just a pain in the anarchistic buttocks.
