Right, I'm going to book into the VVictoria if I can get teh go ahead from my brian that I'm definately not having to have a laborious something else on that day But, thinking about it, if I'm going to traverse the length and breast of the UK just to get up there, I'd after reconsidering my position, to arrive earlier and join some of yus in the screening, but potentiall skip Bugs and loiter in teh bar, and attempt to get bared I'll have to check train times, and the time at which you can get booked in to the hotel, but this all sounds scarily like a plan

Sounds good to me!
BTW, I am now working on questions for the quiz. There'll be a section on Bradford, with all the answers taken from my Bradford Guide Entry, a section based on this week's new Edited Entries, and a 'current affairs' section based on this week's news stories on the BBC News site. I might throw in some Douglas Adams-related questions too.
So , but you have been warned...

Changed your mind about only coming for and curry?
My train arrives at 13:13 from Leeds (though I'll probably board at Bramley). Take that one and I'm sure I'll be able to find you.

Well, I figured if I'm going to go to all the effort of getting out of bed before 2 PM on a Saturday, I might as well 'make a day of it' My train times are:
CAMBRIDGE STATION 09:32 Train WEST ANGLIA GREAT NORTHERN RAI
ELY 09:47 09:53 Train CENTRAL TRAINS
PETERBOROUGH 10:24 10:56 Train GNER
LEEDS 12:30 12:50 Train ARRIVA TRAINS NORTHERN
BRADFORD INTERCHANGE 13:13
DURATION: 3:41 No So I guess we'l be on the same train from Leeds I'll make an attempt at booking meself a room in that there hotel mentioned previously, and if that looks like they have 'room in teh inn', I'll go ahead and book train things and try to figure out what time I'll be leaving on the Sunday I could E-mail you my mobile if you wish? dinner time!

One thing that might make life easier for the part of the day is if everyone can wear shoes and not trainers. There are quite a few Bradford pubs that get fussy about footwear on Saturday evenings, so if they can't turn us away on those grounds (as one pub did at the last Manchester meet) we have a better chance of a good venue for the and quiz.
I'm hoping we can get in at a place called the Old Bank, which has good and doesn't bother with a dress code, but there's always the possibility that it'll be packed on the night.

I don't own a pair of trainers Actually I do, but I have never worn them for the last four or five years, and I'd only ever wore them a towelful of times before that and I've aloverly new pair of shoes at the moment Lest we let our shoes get in teh way of our ale lest us not wear trainers for the fear of alenessless makes us sad blest be us for we wear shoes

2legs - sure, email me with that, though I don't have a mobile meself.
Heck, there's a complicated journey plan, including standing about in Leeds for an hour and a half. I'm amazed there's not another train to Bradford in that time.
Ormy - What about jeans? I don't own any trainers, so no worries on that point.
