Here we go - you can use the return portion of a day return on trains departing up to 0200 on the morning following the outward trip. There was one chap in our office who maintained it was 0230, but 0200 is safe. It may be that you can go later in the WYPTE area - local transport executives often impose their own rules.

I've just checked the online timetables, and the last train from Bradford to Leeds that night is at one minute past midnight.

Cheers both. The two o'clock deadline rings a bell, by the way. I know someone who took a train from York too late, but I couldn't remember what time he had said. Seems I must depart the ball at midnight, hopefully not leaving behind any footwear.

So what sort of time would I be best placed at arriving? Guess I will probably arrive earlier and get myself along to a hotel if I do a hotel for the night perhaps I hsould check out late trains

Well, Ormy's provisional timetable thingy had us watching Bugs at 5:30 and eating curry at 6:30, so I'd guess just before 6:30 is best.

I can't come, the broomstick goes into the garage tomorrow for a couple of expensive sounding jobs, and it's got to be MOT'd as well.

That is bad news, Granny. We'll miss you.
2Legs - I missed your last postings. Yes, as previously suggested, I think we'll be out of the cinema at about 6:30. So we could go to your hotel then and summon you for curry and .

"summon"? Am I the only one with a mental picture of us gathered around an offering of Chicken Madras and a pint of Boddies chanting "2legs, 2legs, 2legs"?
I am? Okay, just wondered.

I think just saying 'Hi mate, food time' will probably do.
But we need to know where to go. 2Legs - do you know where you're staying yet?
Meanwhile, I am delighted to announce that the quiz prizes have arrived. First prize: a gorgeous h2g2 T-shirt. 2nd and 3rd prizes: h2g2 mats. Consolation prizes for all participants: h2g2 pens.
