Thank you thank you thank you, Titania.
I have been very very bad ... not checking in and all. How has everyone been? I did go jogging today, but it only lasted about 3 minutes because it's difficult to run in the cold air while I'm sick (oh, and um ... I haven't exercised in so long that 3 minutes is about the max I can jog right now!) But I did keep walking at a quick pace for a bout 40 minutes.
Am I the only one struggling to not eat sweets all day.
Eeek! It's windy here, my front door just blew open! Darn latch needs replacing.
Mmmm ...

Well, thanks to changing from Weight Watchers to a scheme where I'm supposed to eat all the calories I spend on excercise in order to keep up with the minimum 1300 calories per day, I'm now exercising more than ever...
Walking is good - and walking fast is even better!
Sweets? Naaah... give me salty any day - I regularly fall for a bag of salted peanuts *would stuff her face full right now due to PMT - if she had had any peanuts at home, that is* Darn!

Even without the exercising, I've still been losing about a pound a week on Weight Watchers (14 pounds so far). But I was able to eat a lot more when I was exercising more.

Good job Teru! 14 pounds is great! I'm finding it much harder to shed the pounds just by exercising more (and still eating everything I want.) But I've spent nearly 33 years conditioning myself to eat for the joy of eating (and not because I'm hungry), so it may take me a little while to change that habit! But hopefully hanging around you guys will give me the kick in the pants I need!

I still love food and all the sense pleasures around it (and the emotion), so I still eat all the stuff I love. It's the eating sensible portions of it that I had trouble with

Teru, Ahhh, portion control. This I understand! Well, I'm not very good at it, anyway! My mother is a good cook and there were 5 kids in my family, so if you wanted seconds you had to eat fast!
Tuesday November 18: 3 miles of speedy walking

Yay Teru! Good job rowing!
Wednesday: 2 1/2 miles speedy walking (I think I over estimated yesterday. I will try counting my step again tomorrow to see if the last bit is 1/2 a mile or a whole one!)

Thursday: 3 miles speedy walking! (I went extra far and really made it 3 whole miles ... the other days this weeke were only 2 1/2 miles)
Friday: 2 miles speedy walking (does it still count as excercise if you are speedy walking to the bakery to buy a treat???)
I doubt I'll get out of the hosue tomorrow, it's supposed to snow and I want to stay all cozy.
