The hedgehog's name was Spiny Norman. He made several appearances in the show after his debute at the end of that episode.

"Dinsdale?!"

He was also one of the few characters to make multiple appearances. Others include Mr. Raymond Luxury Yatch, the "It's" Man, the "And Now for Something Completly different" Man, the bishop (I believe he was a bishop) that kept practicing his lines in the woods, and Ken Shabby.

What about the Spanish Inquisition? I thought they had more than one appearance.

I can't believe I forgot the knight with the chicken! There was also the Scotsman on a horse and the Conservitive who'd never let anyone get a word in. I can't remember if any of the Gumbys made multiple appearances.
