dunno I think the animal/vegetable/mineral game is gotta be something you are looking at at the time of raising the q.

One thing I've been thinking of is a paper chase of sorts. The first person leaves a clue as to where the next point is, and then the others have to find it. The first one to the right thread started sets the next clue. I think it would get a bit messy though...

I think that would be a good idea, to suggest that new word games get posted here. A lot of people are unhappy about word games and trivial threads in ask h2g2, but people keep starting them. It's always good to get more people to post on the threads, then we can really take over. I'll put up a classified ad for this site as soon as I remember.

Well I'm gonna write a guide entry about guidelines for creating new games on H2G2 and where to put them (basically all here unless the guide entry is specifically about them, eg simpsons game goes on simpsons page)

Hello. I've just recently found this page and I was wondering: can anybody add their own games to this page? Is that the whole idea? I came up with an idea for a game and then I thought twice about posting it to Ask h2g2, you see.

If you want to start a game here, feel free , that was half the aim of the place, the other half being just to establish that there were lots of researchers out there playing on the game threads

The game idea I had is called Double Fanucci - a game invented in the Zork interactive fiction series, and similar in many ways to Mornington Crescent since it has no rules but infinite variations. So if it's OK, I'll start it off on this entry...
