It seems that the "help" part of our group is going to be duplicated by the Language Thing and their French Department...

If they go along with it, the reason d'etre for our Group will have been snatched from it and there would be no point for the HelpDesk to carry on...

Whatever happened to the "check with existing groups first" advice given to anyone who starts/runs a project?!...

I turned a blind eye when the LT started their French Thread hence the reason why we went into a different direction [ie: talking _about_ french stuff] instead... But, our Group was still there to _help_ with the French language and is advertised as such... There is no way I'm going to let that part of out service taken away from us as well...

Here is my first attempt to make the LT aware of the problem caused by their decision to take on the help aspect that we already offer and have been offering for ages... F95994?thread=423048

I have not been able to keep up with my French for a while but when I am more settled in my new place I will be using the service again.

Thanks for all the help that you and the other researchers Belana and Optical has been given to me.

I'm not able to do much at the moment but, hopefully, I will have a go at a few themes for the HelpDesk pretty soon... That should keep us busy for a while...
