nope... but it's only 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 which are a bit different... after that it the same pattern for 17, 18, 19 than 22, 23, 24.. etc...
17 = dix-sept.. literally "ten-seven"
18 = dix-huit... literally "ten-eight"
etc...
same with 22: vingt-deux.. literally "twenty-two" etc...
even 21,31,41,etc.. have a pattern...
21 = vingt-et-un ... literally "twenty and one"
31 = trente-et-un ... literally "thirty and one" etc... etc...
11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 are the ones to learn more unfortunately because of their different way...
i've just typed that very roughly from memory tho'...
the anything i could add is the fact that
onze [11] comes from un [1]
douze [12] comes from deux [2]
treize [13] comes from trois [3]
quatorze [14] comes from quatre [4]
quinze [15] comes from cinq [5]
seize [16] comes from six [6]
that might not help with 15 tho' as quinze and cinq don't really sound like they are from the same family...
talk soon...
