No, reverse evolution and devolution are totally different. Look, if something is, say, human but it has its genes mucked about with it can evolve along that path. It can then be successful in a particular enviroment. However, if that creature is not successful in a different one, it can re-evolve into almost what it was to start with using genetic memory. However it does retain some of its creature self. In the human race nowadays, it retained good night vision, capablity to breathe thinner air, and incredible skeleton strength.
