*The Rakamats sit down and rest again*

A squadron of death gliders lead by a V-wing brave the fog, fireing blindly at the degerating surface. Instruments don't work, the vong and their creatures senses are virtually worth less in the impossably dense fog.

If no one's going to do any thing here maybe I should be counting in orbit.

*A squadron of Skips, guided by the telepethy of a Yammosk, fly in at the enemy formation and pincer it, firing at the sides of the fighters with plasma and volcano cannons, as the World Ship's anti-fighter batteries (also Yammosk guided) fire through the center of the enemy formation, creating a lethal tripple cross fire*

*a beam of intense, green light bursts down, destroying the planet*

*escept that the dovin basals eat up the intense beam before it can do so!*

C'mon Ralph, that's no fun

As the first ship is destroyed they break formation, scattering. Only knowing where they are and where the rest of the squadron is in relation to the planet. (via computerized maping) Trying to avoid hitting the skips they can't see they open fire in a direction their comrades arn't.

*The Skips and surface batteries stop firing as the yammosk detects the rapid change in unfriendly gravatic signatures. the left skip formation banks sharply left and the right skip formation banks sharply right, sending the two squadrons in opposite directions. After a point the two groups turn back and strafe at different altitudes, hoping to hit some of the erratically manuvering enemy fighters*

Yes Supreme Overlord the WI starting hitting at any male in sight. Now they have got their lethal s hitting our enemies and have started knitting. They are busy having a committee meeting to discuss tatics but keep on ending up fighting with each other.

Another of the gliders is destroyed as the squadron makes its way to the upper atmosphere and comes back down dive bombing the area where the rakamats where.

*White Star 9 opens a jump point in the atmosphere and takes out a couple of the gliders with the pulse cannon*

You can't do that, the WS9 is still in the world ship!

The White Star 9 was never inside the world ship. It was docked outside and protected by dovin basals.

*Several rakamats die, a few are wounded, the rest shoot blindly at the upper atmosphere. When the Yammask calms them down it also directs the skips to sweep up under and behind the enemy fighters, where they again strafe with volcano and plasma cannons*

I left the world ship to rejoin the battle

*inperial TIE interceptors blast away at the Vong defenses, whilst Scimitar-bombers attack ground troops*

Once again, never again!

*Several of the Rakamats die, the rest stand up and blast the bombers out of the sky. Two squadrons of Skips sweep in on te flanks of the enemy fighters and open fire at point blank range*

The glider squadron pulls back into space under the cover of the Olympus.

The WI have stopped fighting and have joined in the battle.

*TIE fighters come in to defend the assault bombers. The bombers activate their repulsorlifts, accellerating to 25000 km\h and speeding away from the Skips*
