A Conversation for Freemasonry - a Question and Answer Session

I'm surprised they didn't get a mention. Are some of the rituals messy?
If not, what are they for?

The fact that I forgot to mention them is probably an indicator of the degree of significance they hold in a broad description of Freemasonry. I mean, if you were giving a concise overview of the Church of England, for example, you wouldn't dwell at any length on the fact that its ordained members wear dog collars! The point is that it's a part of our uniform that symbolises purity (it's made from lambskin unless you go for the economy model). Various adornments to the apron indicate one's status.
