Ade Edmondson and Bamber Gascoigne share the same birthday. Though of course Bamber was played by Griff Rhys-Jones in the episode "Bambi" so I doubt they ever had chance to remark upon the fact.

The Young Ones was filmed (for the outside shots) in Bristol.
The pub "The Crab and Calculator" is actually called "The Cock of the North".

Yep, the house was in Codrington Road as was Warlocks.
That's in Bristol B7, I still can't decide which house was theirs from Google Earth.
