Very correct, the sewer scene in the Italian was indeed filmed in Coventry, more specifically film in the region of Stoke Aldermoor. My older brother watched the Mini's being lowered into the sewer as a young boy. I'm going to ask him exactly where in Stoke Aldermoor this was!

If you go to Allard Way and stand directly under the bridge that the train crosses before you enter Stoke Aldermoor you will pretty much standing on top of the spot where the mini's were lowered into the sewer.
