Try visiting Chester Zoo, England.
I visit it every year I am in Englang. They have expanded various areas and it is probably one of the best set out zoos I have visited.
I live in Zambia and, would you believe it, with the exception of the Game Parks, you very rarely see any "wild llife" except Mongooses and vervet monkeys.
